Happy Holidays from History Arch 2018

historyarch.com has been up and running now for 15 months and there has been a lot of change and growth.  It seems like a good time for some reflection.  We are in a season which for Christians is a time of new beginnings.  We celebrate the birth of Christ, a momentous occasion that transformed the world 2,000 years ago and continues to reverberate across the ages.  We all experience petty frustrations and aggravations that sometimes obscure the bigger picture.  For me, it has been a good year, a new professional challenge, healthy children who are learning and growing, and a strong marriage of ten great years.

Last year historyarch.com reached readers in 14 nations across three continents which surpassed all expectations.  2018 has been even better.  I have published 55 articles ranging from the Neolithic Age to the Cold War with many subjects in between with no shortage of ideas and topics for the foreseeable future as well.  The site now averages more readers per month than I had for 2017 combined.  Even this month, readers from new countries have come to the site.  I am pleased to report that historyarch.com has reached readers in 118 nations spanning six continents from small islands such as Malta and Iceland to huge nations including India and China.  Below I am enclosing a map where readers are represented in red for the US and yellow for the rest of the world.  I included the name of every yellow nation below the map.

So to end the year, I want to express heartfelt thanks to every person who has taken the time to read one or more of my articles, especially those who posted comments, sent emails and otherwise offered suggestions and feedback.  It is all greatly appreciated.  Finally, I hope the previous 365 days have been as fulfilling for you as they have for me and express my best wishes for an upcoming year filled with blessings and good fortune.
