Cannot find the same picture today. Very interesting to see (as it is in my memory) but I didn’t save the picture. Nicely written history of the events of that period. The pictures add visually to the story. Thank you for your work.

LMAO All theories should be explored and closed minds have no business being anywhere but inside their own holes. RME

Translation of above quote to English: “I love you my brother … We Poles have always been and will be like Lions. We will find you and bury you with honors. Honor and glory to the heroes”

Reply: “Bóg honor i ojczyzna” (God, Honor, Fatherland). Poland Forever!

To me, anything that gets more attention, engagement and exposure for complicated arts, science and humanities subjects is a net positive.
The 10 yr old is the future so…if he digs it…
The review has me gonna watch the show….

Comment on The Rupture of George Washington’s and Thomas Jefferson’s Friendship and Its Importance by Elizabeth Allen https://historyarch.com/2020/02/12/the-end-of-washingtons-and-jeffersons-personal-realtionship-and-its-impact-on-american-politics-and-history/#comment-3086 Sat, 27 Aug 2022 07:19:22 +0000 http://historyarch.com/?p=7248#comment-3086 I enjoyed this article; thanks. It pretty much confirms what I’ve learned in the past about this period. The only difference is I had read that although Washington and Jefferson were friendly and exchanged some letters, they were never especially close. It’s a minor point though. Washington, in my mind, is one of the greatest leaders of all time. Jefferson can’t hold a candle to him, even with his accomplishments.

Show me your evidence that Grace Sherwood was the daughter of a slave or that she was prosecuted due to racial bias. There are a lot of folk tales about Sherwood, many appeared 100 years or more after her death and have no documentary basis. I wuld love to see some proof, if there is any I will edit the article. Feel free to post links/sources in the comments.
